Full movie as intended:
Here (MP4, 160 MB, 24 minutes). Or do a web search: "half a man" "laurel" - for more links to view the movie.

Movie history databases and write ups about "Half A Man" simply state the filming location was Santa Catalina Island. However, this location information may be incorrect. The beginning and ending segments of the movie (best parts) are at the beach and bluffs of what appear to be Redondo Beach/Torrance Beach/Palos Verdes locations. The awesome bluff top/cliff scenes at the end of the movie may be at or near the archaeological excavation site Malaga Cove (CA LAN-138). There are scenes with Flotsam Castle at the beginning of the movie, etc, etc.

Note: the middle of the movie is 10+ minutes of onboard the boat scenes.
